Oculoplasty

Oculoplasty is a branch of ophthalmology that focuses on plastic surgery procedures relating to the eyes, as well as the structures that surround it. This pertains to cosmetic or reconstructive surgery on areas around the eyes, such as the eyelids and orbit (eye socket).

Medical Management - Oculoplasty is the medical and surgical treatment of conditions affecting the eyes and surrounding areas, and includes eye lifts, cheek/lower eyelid volumisation, tear trough filler (TearFill) and skin care. It also includes the management of sun damage and of skin tumors on and around the eyelids. She does delicate reconstructive surgery of eyelids after tumour excision.


Surgical Management - Oculoplastic surgery is a general term used to represent a variety of procedures that involve the orbit, eyelids, tear ducts, and the face. Ocular reconstructive surgery, aesthetic eyelid surgery, facial plastic surgery, and cosmetic procedures fall into this category.
